Cleaning Fairy Breaks into Houses and Leaves Cleaning Bill

Sue Warren decided she wasn’t going to sit around and wait for clients to call her house cleaning business. Instead, she took the initiative and started breaking into people’s houses, cleaning them and leaving the bill. You have to admit, it’s a pretty bold business plan.
According to the Westlake Police Department, the 53-year-old woman from Elyria, Ohio, was apprehended last week, after she broke into a house on Dover Center Road, did some light cleaning and left a bill for $75, on a napkin. Mallory Bush, 18, was actually asleep in her bedroom the whole time, and when she woke up and saw the place slightly cleaner and the bill on the table, she thought her parents had hired a cleaning person.  She called her mom, Sherri, to tell her the hired help did their job, but the woman had no idea what she was talking about, so they decided to give Sue a call, thinking she cleaned the wrong house. When they heard her answer, the Bushes’ jaws dropped to the ground.

“I said, what happened, did you get the wrong house? She said, ‘no, I do this all the time.’ I said, what do you mean? She said, ‘I just stop and clean your house’,” Sherri Bush remembers. That’s when they decided to call the cops. Having left her contact details on the napkin cleaning bill, tracking down Warren wasn’t very hard. When investigators gave her a call to ask about her bizarre habit, she became irate and hung up, but not before telling them she does this all the time. Police would later find out the woman dubbed “cleaning fairy, indeed had two other charges pending in surrounding communities for similar antics. Just last month, Sue was accused of trespassing, in Beachwood, after pulling the same stunt.

“She said she was driving down the street and randomly picked our house and cleaned it cause she was desperate for money,” Mallory Bush said. Her mother says that seeing her work she would probably have paid her $15, but certainly not $75. Since there was no sign of forced entry and nothing was stolen from the hose, no charges have yet been filed against the cleaning fairy, in Westlake.

Professional Cuddler Charges $60 Per Hour of Cuddling and Snuggling

A lot of people like to snuggle and cuddle, but Jacqueline Samuel, from New York’s Rochester area, actually opened her own business charging $60 for an hour’s worth of non-sexual cuddling and snuggling.
There are moments in life when you feel the need to cuddle, but you have no one to do it with. That’s where 29-year-old Jackie Samuel comes in. Last month she set up The Snuggery, a unique business that offers total strangers the chance to snuggle and cuddle with Jackie, for $60 an hour. “What I like to do is cuddle, so I figured it was a good thing to do. A lot of people didn’t like the idea so I figured it would be kind of an underground small-scale operation and provide a little extra income,” the young entrepreneur says. But her nutty idea already started attracting national attention and she’s already been featured on FOX, CNN and is set to make an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Jackie started thinking about a business centered around cuddling at the start of grad school, and says she and her sisters even tried selling hugs on the street for $1 each, making up to $80 per day. And although she hasn’t been able to get certified as a professional cuddler, the University of Rochester graduate has studied the “Cuddle Sutra” and is versed in over 100 non-sexual positions. Still most of the time, she and her clients start out by spooning. Some of her affection-seeking customers (all men) have questioned her about getting some extra attention, but Samuel says most of them respect her boundaries.

To make sure there are no misunderstandings about what goes on during her cuddling sessions, Jacqueline has added a Q&A section where she tries to clarify the most important issues:
Q. Do we meet before we snuggle?
A. Yes, we do meet briefly prior to snuggling in order to make sure that we’re both comfortable and that our expectations are compatible.

Q. What if I become sexually aroused during my session?
A. Don’t worry, it happens! Although sexual activity is not permitted, arousal is perfectly normal and should not make anyone feel uncomfortable.

Q. Do clothes/pajamas always stay on for the duration of our session?
A. Absolutely! Nudity is not permitted.

According to The Snuggery site: “Jacqueline established The Snuggery because she believes in the healing power of touch. The Snuggery is a place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and focus on the simple restorative pleasure of touch. Though science has unquestionably supported the psychological and physical benefits of non-sexual touch, Americans distinctly lack it. It’s time for change. At The Snuggery, Jacqueline provides individuals with private snuggling sessions. She aims to make the world a gentler place, one snuggle at a time.”
Although Jackie and her cuddling partner are alone together in a room, there are more people present in the house, for security reasons.

The Cassowary Bird >The Most Terrifying Bird on Earth

I know, it looks like something that came out of an ostrich-impregnated turkey, but it’s actually very dangerous.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, the Cassowaries are the world’s most dangerous birds, capable of dealing fatal blows. They are very unpredictable, aggressive creatures, especially if wounded or cornered. The Cassowary lives in the rain forests of Australia and New Guinea and are actually pretty shy animals if undisturbed, but if you get to close and it thinks you’re a threat you could receive a bone-breaking kick or get sliced by its dagger-like sharp claws. During WWII, soldiers stationed in New Guinea were warned to stay away from these birds, but some of them still became victims.
The Cassowary is also one of the most difficult animals to keep in the Zoo because of the frequent injuries suffered by Zoo keepers that look after them. I like a bird that can take care of itself, but, unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to help it very much against human cruelty and it is on the endangered species list, along with so many others…

Background

The Cassowary belongs to the Ratite Bird Family. All Ratites are large, flightless birds that have been around for some 100 million years, since the long-gone days of Gondwanaland. This ancient family includes the Emu, the Ostrich, the Moa (now extinct), the Rheas, and the Kiwi.

Thai elephant massage...

Thailand offers fantastic adventures including elephant massages. In Chiang Mai province you can get a trained elephant to massage you with its feet. A fully grown elephant can weight 11,000 pounds. This terrifying experience will likely cause more stress than it relieves.
